NIVEL is the Netherlands Institute for Health Services Research. It conducts applied policy research for policy makers in public health care. This research is conducted on the basis of projects for a large number of clients, ranging from government bodies and (umbrella organisations of) health care insurers, to professional groups, health care organisations and patient and consumer organisations. NIVEL is offering office space and support to the EUPHA office.

The Open Society Institute (OSI) promotes the development and maintenance of open societies around the world by supporting an array of activities dealing with educational, social, legal, and health care reform, and by encouraging alternative approaches to complex and controversial issues. Based in New York City, OSI is a private operating and grant making foundation. Its activities include network programme other international programmes and U.S. programmes. Network programmes administered by OSI include the Public Health Programmes, the goal of which is to foster equitable public health policy in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. A special area of concern are the health rights of vulnerable populations. OSI has been working with EUPHA in encouraging and developing the conference participation of public health experts from central and Eastern European countries.
